The Produce and Craft show boasted floral and art exhibits of exceptional high standard.

On the green sounds of music and laughter mingled with delighted shouts of children and adults enjoying the spellbinding entertainment and displays. The hot midsummer sun worked its magic drawing in the crowds and quickly melting ice creams. Floral head dresses with flowing rainbow ribbons adorned maidens heads and the Town Crier was in exceptional good voice.

Thank you to Katrina Baker and the dedicated team who contributed to this all-inclusive community event and especially for inviting us to share it.

Hadley rocked to the summer sounds of a live Rhythm and Blues band, setting feet tapping and hearts singing.

All attractions were free and so much appreciated judging by the squeals of excitement heard throughout the afternoon as families and friends enjoyed, getting lost in the maze, trying their skill at rodeo, the circus skills tent encouraged would be artists, hook a duck, smash a crock, line dancing demonstrations and wild birds of prey display were amongst the array of entertainments available.

Charitable organisations plied their wares and the Hadley community responded generously, everyone benefited, a perfect way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon.

Telford really does have everything.

The medieval pageant a tribute to bygone days has become an integral part of the Fayre it presented a sombre yet dazzling vision; soldiers clad in scarlet tunics, muskets primed; cheery maidens escorted by their admirers walked through the town bowing, waving and nodding acknowledgment to onlookers.
Morris dancing, brass bands; and a cool sanctuary for those seeking some respite from the heat of the day or quiet reflection was available in the church along with teas and home made cakes.

DBHS members Vic, Benita, Helene, Melanie, John, Christopher and Carol were kept busy running the crockery smash, tombola and making floral chaplets. Brilliant day well done Wellington.

Young people enjoyed free face painting, clay modelling and a wood craft demonstration by The Small Woods Association.

DBHS made floral willow chaplets decorated with flowing rainbow ribbons proved very popular with young and not so young.

It was a very busy morning and extremely well supported by local primary schools families and residents. The cups of tea were very welcome amidst the scents of herbs organic foods and warm friendly atmosphere.
