Those attending were enthusiastic and keen to get started, members of
Woodside allotment association joined in the discussion.
Woodside Allotments Association is an established well-organised body with
valuable experience of running community allotments, they were able to offer good advice based on practical knowledge and a well proven strategy.

Tuesday July 16th

First public Consultation for community garden and allotments project in Dawley Bank was well attended 100% positive response.

Everyone asked submitted a completed comment form.

All comments were constructive offering; practical advice, expressing a desire to be involved and participating in design of project.

Today Iain Wheeler from Geotechnics based at Telford and Wrekin Council visited the proposed allotment site on Dawley Bank with a view to initiating ground soil testing after submitting a quote to be included in the lottery bid.

Confirmed today an opportunity for anyone interested in Dawley Bank Allotments project to contribute with proposals and designs defining how best to accommodate specific needs of all age groups and abilities.
