It’s Ed here I played the pipes for you at the Lantern Parade. Would it be possible for you to update the write up with my name Ed Arnold and the drummers name Barrie Haigh. Also if you’ve any larger photos you could send us we’d be extremly grateful.
Many thanks and hope you all have a lovely Xmas and New Year.
Thanks for your letter last week. John gave it me just as the meeting was started. I did not submit durin Correspondence that night, for two reasons.
I did not have chance to absorb the content
It would be better received at a later meeting when the direction specific budgets were agreed on how to spent.
Last Thursday was to set the Budget. Unfortunately the draft Budget had already been set and it could not have been considered on the night to have a seperate Budget Item for Lantern Parade.
However, as was discussed the may be opportunity to direct monies as Council or Committee feels appropiate from the £10,000 that was set aside for Christams activities.
I hope this repsonse provides the basis for a further letter to the Council, that could be presented at a Policy &Finance 19th Feb or 19th Mar, prior to the next full Council at which the direction that some of the budget items may be decided.

Venue: Community day at Ercall Wood Technology College Golf Links Lane
Date: Saturday 17th September, 2011
Time: 12pm-4pm
After last years fantastic response over 1500 people came through the gates, we managed to raise a fantastic £1200 for various charities.
We are organizing another Community Day at Ercall Wood on Saturday 17th September 12pm till 4pm, the event will be open to all the families of students from Ercall Wood and the local Primary Schools (and anyone else who is interested). There will be articles going in the Shropshire Star & the Journal news paper as well as advertised in our school newsletter prior to the event. The day will involve a range of fun and inspiring activities and presentations showcasing the exciting opportunities and careers, the event will be situated on the main field and school site.
This year we are focusing more on our local community, we have two fantastic competitions one linked to Ironbridge Gorge museum. We would be thrilled if you could attend. All you would need to do at this point is send myself confirmation either by email or call on the below number to discuss further.
